About This Item
New York: The Viking Press. Good in Fair dust jacket. ca. 1928. Hardcover. 128 p. 22.5 cm. American edition. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards. Small patches of moisture damage to the edges of the upper board. Top fore-corners are bumped. All corners have light wear. Colour on the top edge of the text block is faded. Fore-edge if a bit soiled. Gift inscription dated 1929 on the front free endpaper. A couple of pages inside have tiny dog-eared corners. Otherwise, inside pages have occasional light soil but are clean overall. The dust jacket has very heavy edge wear, with paper loss, creases and tears. The panels are heavily soiled and the spine darkened from moisture damage. A children's story about a stolen horse. Illustrated in pen and ink. .
