Limited edition, number 295 of 450 copies, from a total edition of 460, signed by the illustrator; 4to; 12 colour plates, including frontispiece, plus in-text black and white illustrations by Arthur Rackham, captioned tissue guards, text clean and bright; publisher's deluxe full vellum, stamped in gilt, gilt lettering to spine, corners slightly rubbed, top edge gilt, others uncut or unopened, pictorial endpapers, housed in original card slipcase, slightly toned and worn, overall a very good copy.
Limited edition, one of only 460 copies, of this popular play based on a Norwegian fairy tale, signed by Arthur Rackham on the limitation page.
