Inscribed by the author on front flyleaf from Randolph, Massachusetts, dated August 1894. 324 pp. 8vo., brown cloth stamped in silver. Spine slightly rolled, with a few nicks to heel. Light staining to spine under title, which is sligtly faded. The corners are bumped and have slight wear; there is also a small dampstain to the top of the front joint. Light foxing to half-title, and the text is toned at the margins. Overall a good plus copy, with a rare inscription. BAL 6337.
