A scarce copy of the first edition collection of personal poems by R L Megroz, in the original publisher's stiff cardboards, and complete in its unclipped dust wrapper. Rodolphe Louis Megroz was a prolific English author, critic, and poet. The present copy comprises the first anthology of poems by this author, dedicated to his mother. Containing a sonnet sequence dedicated to love, nature, science and religion, odes to love, life, and the River Thame, and miscellaneous sonnets. A rare first edition of this work. A scarce copy in the original publisher's stiff card boards, complete in its unclipped dust wrapper. No half title as called for. With errata slip bound in to the rear. In the original publisher's stiff cardboard binding. Externally sound with minor shelf wear and minor cockling to the boards due to possible minor damp damage, affecting the leaves through slightly. The dust wrapper is unclipped and lightly soiled, with minor shelf wear. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Very Good
