Single vol. (131 x 81 mm), pp. [12], 812, printed in two columns, with engraved frontispiece by Dopter. Bound in contemporary dark blue velvet with silver plated hardware, all edges gilt. Minor rubbing to extremities, lacking lower clasp, metal a little tarnished. Very good. Later edition, in an attractive night-blue velvet binding. An elegant, portable accessory for the fashionable young woman in 1850s France. 1 copy only of this edition on WorldCat (BnF).
