London Longmans, Green and Co. 1884. 7.5 x 5.5 inches. Hardback in illustrated light brown cloth covers with printed brown lettering to front and spine. Top edges gilt. Navy endpapers. In very good condition. Corners and edges lightly rubbed. Some white paint to leading edges. Owners bookplate and bookseller label to front endpaper. Endpapers darkened. Some light foxing spots and marks to pages otherwise a clean and tight copy. 310pp. 6 full page illustrations and 27 within text.
