About This Item
New York: Grove Press. Good. 1960. First Paperback Edition. Paperback. Color and b&w reproductions; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 63 pages; [SIGNED Presentation Copy] 1960 Grove Press. Trade size paperback in original glossy pictorial covers. Inscribed by Ashton to David Pease on the title page: "For David / with gratitude / Dore." The small format monograph is soundly bound but has some archival paper tape reinforcing the spine and two old tape reinforcements to spine ends. Some small number of scattered pages with pencil marginalia, presumably by Pease. Covers lightly toned with trace shelf soiling. Illustrated with color and b&w reproductions of Guston works. Ashton's inscription undated, but presumably contemporary with the book's publication. Good only ; Signed by Author .
