Illustrated on heavy paper with 447 illustrations in color and b&w, 10 tipped in color plates and 44 small in text b&w illustrations of Picasso's set designs, program covers, sketches, paintings and drawings that have the theme of the theatre The fragile acetate dustjacket has a small tear and a small piece missing from the spine panel, otherwise this is a vg+ copy of a wonderful book on the work of who many consider the greatest artist of the 20th Century. Laid in is a press release for a large show of his in new york city and the 24pg. checklist for his recent show of sculpture at the MOMA.
