Kendal: Westmorland Gazette, not dated but bought as new in the 1960s.. Very Good/Very Good. 69th Impression. Hardcover. Small 8vo. Bound in brown cloth with bright, gilt lettering to front board and spine, this hardcover 69th impression is VG in un-price-clipped wrapper. I bought it as new in the 1960s and am the sole owner so far. No inscriptions or annotations. Wrapper has slight wear at top of spine and corners. Pages not numbered, usual sketches, maps and handwritten text. From Allen Crags to Whin Rigg. Wainwright's notebooks on the mountains of the English Lake District are the best guides to walking the fells, and dearly beloved by a growing group of walkers and collectors. .
