New York: Robert Sears, 1852. This is the rare and sought after pictorial history by Sears. This includes the two fold out maps one of India, the other of China. Full black cloth with gilt lettering on the spine and elaborate gilt cover, heavily worn, front and back boards are attached by black cloth-tape to the spine, spine has been inexpertly relaid. White cloth-tape in the gutter behind the front cover, lacking the half title, titled page is damaged, internally a bit crinkly from moisture. Plate and maps are in relatively good condition. Overall a READING copy only. Photos available upon request. UncleAndy. Full Cloth. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hardcover.
