First U.S. edition, copyright 1965 and published by G. P. Putnam's Sons / Stein and Day (New York). Dust jacket has $5.00 on the front flap. Jacket shows wear to include tanning and foxing (particular the edges), heavy sunfade (such as the spine), rubbing, scuffs, wrinkles, nicks, chips, tears, and shelfwear. The middle of the jacket spine is crimped at the rear hinge. Pink and black hardcovers show wear such as bumped corners, bumped spine head and tail, sunfade to the top edge, nicks to the edges, scratches, shelfwear, and a couple of white specks on the boards. The textblock is tanned. There does not appear to be any writing in the text. Overall, this book is in Very Good minus (VG-) condition.
