A very nice Association copy: INSCRIBED BY JAN WAHL TO THE HIGHLY-REGARDED RUSSIAN EMIGRE CHILDREN'S ILLUSTRATOR FEODOR ROJANKOVSKY on the front free endpaper. Also includes part of an envelope addressed from Wahl to Rojankovsky glued onto the front pastedown. A very sharp copy to boot of the 1964 correct 1st edition (Hanrahan A-62). Tight and VG+ in an unusually crisp, price-intact ($2.95), Near Fine dustjacket. Octavo, wonderfully illustrated thruout by the great Maurice Sendak.
