London: J. Pigot & Co.. Fair with no dust jacket. 1841. Hardcover. Vol. I only. 502pp + 6 unnumbrered pages. 21 maps with 21 facing pictures, as called for, from Bedfordshire to Wiltshire. Book has green textured cloth covers with black text on the spine. Label mostly illegible. Marks on covers and spine, tears along outer hinges on front and back covers, wear to head, tail, edges and corners, corners bumped. Inner hinges cracked but still attached. Text is unmarked, however pages show some foxing, some quires more heavily darkened than others, and there is humidity darkening at top and bottom margins of many pages. A worn copy but one with its full complement of maps, still usable. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 508 pages .
