About This Item
London: Heinemann, 1961. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo. 1961 reprint. Bound in full smooth green calf by Bayntun, Bath, with gilt rules to the board and spine edges, titles in gilt on a burgundy leather label and gilt galleon device to the compartments, with a large galleon device in gilt to the front board. All edges gilt. Several very little scratches, the joints a little rubbed and the front board joint with a small split at the head, with some light spotting to the rear board, and little tape marks from an article taped in to the front blank and half-title. Clean throughout and the binding tight and square, overall a very nice copy.
