Written by Irish author Oliver Goldsmith (1728-1774). A writer of both fiction, poetry and non-fiction, Goldsmith's other works include his celebrated novel, 'The Vicar of Wakefield', as well as biographical and historical works such as 'A History of the Earth and Animated Nature', 'The Life of Richard Nash' as included in this volume, 'Account of the Augustan Age in England', and 'The History of England, from the Earliest Times to the Death of George II'.Bound in full leather, with gilt detail to the spine, edges and cover.A pocket-sized edition of the works of an important British poet. In a full calf binding. Externally a trifle rubbed to the spine in particular, resulting in slight loss to the leather. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good
