A later impression of his collected poems, with descriptive and lyrical poems as well as prologues and epilogues, each annotated. Featuring also a biographical memoir of the author. Edited by Bolton Corney.Featuring poems including 'The Traveller' and 'The Deserted Village' among other miscellaneous poems, epilogues and prologues.Illustrated with wood engravings by the members of the 'Etching Club': C. W. Cope, Thomas Creswick, J. C. Horsely, R. Redgrave, and Frederick Tayler. Rebound in full calf with five raised bands, gilt tooling to spine, gilt to edges, new marbled endpapers. Externally smart with mild shelf wear, minor marks and light soiling to boards and spine. G. Pearson Barnsley stamp to a front blank leaf. Internally, firmly bound. Considerable spotting to first and last few leaves only, otherwise pages generally bright and clean. With wood engravings in text. Very Good Indeed

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
