Bound in half red morocco with raised bands and gold gilt to the spine. Mottled pattern to page edges that matches the endpapers. Black and white plate frontispiece. Minor spotting and toning to the pages from age, otherwise very clean internally. Some bumping and rubbing to board corners and spine, but overall binding is very clean and in Very Good condition.
In all, a very tidy example of this slightly later edition of the complete poetical works of Sir Walter Scott, and one that would sit very well on any shelf.
