Demy folio, 2 volumes, pp. [2], [v]-xxxiv, 256, [4]; [2], 326; later quarter green morocco over green pebble cloth boards, gilt-decorated spine in 6 compartments, title gilt-direct in 1, red stained edges, marbled endpapers; the leather is rubbedand scuffed, but the textblock is very nice and clean, with a small stain on the title page to volume 1, and a library stamp on title page and p. 27 of volume 1, and flyleaf of volume 2. Gaskell 672.
