Collated, complete. Edited by Meary James Thurairajah Tambimuttu, a Tamil poet, editor, critic and publisher, who had significant influence in the literary scenes of London and New York City. In 1939, Tambimuttu founded the literary magazine Poetry London, to which many well-known writers contributed, including: Lawrence Durrell, Kathleen Raine, W. H. Auden, Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, Roy Campbell, Robin Skelton, and many others. The magazine showcased late modernist and American Beat poetry. In the original beige cloth binding. Externally, smart with light bumping to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot.
