Dayton, Virginia: Shenandoah Press, 1927. First edition. 8vo, xiv, [2], & 613 pp, with frontis portrait & occasional illustrations in text. Original green cloth lettered in gilt on the spine & upper cover.
Binding lightly rubbed, gilt a bit dull, corners bumped, occasional minor foxing, otherwise Very Good.
Author Pendleton (1847 - 1941) served in the 8th Virginia Cavalry during the Civil War & was later the owner & editor of the Tazewell Republican.
