Brilliant AEG & wrap-around edge gilt dentilles, lovely and contrasty marbled end papers. Cuite attractive, embellished by many full-page tissue-guarded steel engravings. Volume I, 640 pages. Dual dated 1872 & 1873 on 2 separate title pages. Light number to lower spine, library plates on verso of each cover.
