New York: Random House, 1934. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair. Second Printing. Very Good in a Fair jacket, ($2.50), split in two at the rear edge of the spine, generally toned, chips and tears throughout. Tan buckram, frayed at the bottom edge, with a paste-down label on the spine. Square, front hinge a bit loose, some mustiness. Stein's "album of intimate characterizations of her friends," including Cezanne, Picasso, Matisse, T.S. Eliot, Cocteau, Hemingway, Van Vechten, Sherwood Anderson, among others.
