FIRST EDITION 1769. 8vo, approximately 170 x 100 mm, 6¾ x 4 inches, 1 folding plate, pages: [10],1-285, [9], bound in original old sheep with new calf spine, 2 gilt lettered maroon labels to spine with gilt decoration and date, old endpapers. Light wear and staining to covers and corners, slight browning to edges of folding plate and 1 small brown stain, 1 fold neatly strengthened on blank side, 2 tiny repairs to plate at edge of lower margin, tiny hole to page 180 neatly repaired, loss to 1 letter, tiny hole to last blank endpaper, pale offset to some pages, otherwise a very clean tight copy.
