The second reprint of this work by the historian Roger Fulford, who looks at the life of Albert, Prince Consort. In a charming signed leather binding. The second reprint of the first edition of this work by Roger Fulford. A charming biography of Albert, the Prince Consort of Queen Victoria, from his youth until his typhoid fever and eventual death in 1861.Much of Fulford's work as a historian focussed on the late Hanoverian period, although his major occupation was that of a journalist. Illustrated with a frontispiece and seven full page plates. Collated, complete. In a charming R. W. and H. B. signed binding, dated 1966. In a charming full signed morocco binding with some gilt tooling to the spine and boards, and decorations to the spine. With gilt to the edges. Externally lovely with only minor shelf wear. Internally, firmly bound. With a minor faint spotting to the endpapers. otherwise the pages are bright and clean. Illustrated with a frontispiece and seven full page plates. Collated, complete. Near Fine
