Spine browned and faded, previous owner signature on front wrapper (JW. Gastelum?) and stamp of FM. Verzuh. Clean internally, noting penciled "BS" on the abstract page for a paper by Fano. Wraps. The sixth in a series of meetings IBM organized for information exchange among leaders in various fields. Contains articles or abstracts presented at the conference by Roothaan, Taub, Fano, Culler, Shaw, Oettinger, Fenves, Stockham Jr, Perlis, Coons, Bryant, Kilgour, Miller, Fender, and Dobbs. Held at the Thomas J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, New York, May 3, 4, and 5, 1965.

PROVENANCE: From the library of MIT Computer pioneer Frank Verzuh (his stamp on the front wrapper). Prof Verzuh worked on the MIT Rapid Arithmetic Machine at MIT, and was active in early computing.
