Ex-library copy, with expected inserts and inscriptions. Binding remains firm.Pages are moderately tanned. Boards have heavy edge-wear with substantial bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Heavy staining to both boards.

Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Light creasing to gutter. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Minor tanning to spine and edges. Bleaching spots overall. Textblock is shaky. Clipped jacket has light edgewear with tears and creasing. Some tanning to spine. Minor rubbing to surfaces.

Condition is excellent, there's a tiny dent to tail rim, while its dust jacket is edgeworn with numerous small tears and a verso tape strengthener to a complicated small tear at the heel. Number 20 in the Collected Works series; small volumes (7.5x4.5 inches) hardbound in moss-green cloth boards spine-titled with transverse gilt line decoration, very pretty. The ugly dust jacket may be intentionally so, and is to be thrown (that's just our guess).

Slight crushing to spine ends. Wear marks overall.
