New York: Slote, Woodman & Co, 1878. Second Edition. Hardcover. Small Octavo, 140, [4] pages. In Very Good minus condition. Bound in red cloth with gilt lettering on spine. Second edition, with Twain's name printed as facsimile autograph on title page, as well as issue points present on pages 91 and 101. Clothing binding 2, with blue endpapers decorated with caricatures, and illustrations of Twain's scrapbook on rear pastedown. Scuffing along edges of boards. Fraying to cloth on head and tail of spine. Light bumping to corners. Age-toning to interior pages. With four pages of advertisements in rear. Shelved in Case 13. BAL 3378. 1376204.
