Brick red cloth, titles and graphics stamped on the spine in green, graphics wrap onto the front cover. Publisher's motif blind stamped on the back cover. Edges trimmed. In the color illustrated dust jacket, price clipped. A single leaf of publisher advertising is tipped in to the final text page. Lower corners gently bumped. Jacket spine head, tail and top edge tape repairs on verso, spine lightly age toned. A Dublin journalist inspired by religious fanaticism murders a courtesan. With fine, bold Lee-Elliott art-deco jacket and cover designs. Not in HUBIN. Dust jacket preserved in a removable clear archival sleeve.
