First ed, illustrated, each page of text framed by a unique border design. Covers water-stained around edges. Interior Very Good with some marginal stains and pencilled addenda on the alphabetical role (7 pages). Repaired tear on first free end-paper. Bumped corners. Dedication: "To Her Most Gracious Majesty Queen Victoria, This Memorial Record of her Volunteer Guard of Honour, at Loch Katrine, 1859, By Special Permission Respectfully Dedicated.".
