Book #19 in the classic series featuring girl sleuth, Nancy Drew, & her chums, Bess & George. Orig. published in 1942, this is a later printing (19455B-30 per Farah's 11th), retaining the original frontispiece art (plain) by Russell Tandy (no internals) & the original text in 25 chpts, 213 pages. Hardcover 12mo has solid blue cloth-covered boards, with orange silhouette endpapers. Condition is VG: very clean, binding strong & straight, hinges secure. Pages creamy white with modest tanning to edges, unmarked save for former owner's name in multiple places & on back of next page (ffep). Extremely slight bumping to corners. The unclipped white spine DJ is also VG, with slight chipping to both ends of spine & rubbing to flap edges; nicely protected in new clear mylar cover Free!
