Original blue cloth, lettered in gilt on spine; photo-illustrated dust jacket; 8vo; pp. x, 181, plus b/w frontispiece portrait. Spine tips and corners gently rubbed, otherwise book is fine. Dust jacket lightly chipped at spine tips; a bit wrinkled along the edges; rubbed on rear panel; not price-clipped, and presents nicely in mylar. The broadcast scripts in the first part of the book are mainly autobiographical or personal, whilst the second half of the book comprises expository or critical scripts. Laid in is a review from "The Observer." First Edition, first issue, with the full stop after "sailors" at the end of verse five of "The Hunchback in the Park" on p. 3. Rolph B 23.
