Three plays by Sardou bound together in one volume: 'Rabagas' (1872) 18th edition, 240 pages; 'Andrea' ((1880) new edition; 164 pages; & 'Les Pres Saint-Gervais' (1875) 127 pages; French text; List of other works by the author to front; three loosely inserted contemporary newspaper cutting reviews (English) relating to Sardou & performances of his plays (one starring Madame Sarah Bernhardt); handwritten note in French on title page of Andrea stating that it was first performed on 17th March in 1873 at the Theatre du Gymnase in Paris; no other notations or marks; a handsome volume with light wear to edges & corners of leather. Gilt titles spine with gilt number '4' so probably one of a set of Sardou plays; Marbled endpapers. . Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 240 + 164 + 127 pages. Text is in French. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Top edge gilt in good condition. Quantity Available: 1.
