Published Philadelphia: Dorrance and Company, 1928, second printing, in the same month as the first - March, 1928. 8vo., 286pp., illustrated with b/w plates. Red linen cloth with gilt spine and cover titles. Inscribed on two occasions by the author; first, on frontis photo: "To Charles Ernstberger, Jr., Clarence D. Chamberlin." Second, on front pastedown: "To Mary L. Zagoreos, with best wishes, Clarence D. Chamberlin, Aug 12th, 1961." Two weeks after Lindbergh's solo transatlantic flight, aviator Clarence Chamberlin flew non-stop from New York to Germany, carry the first transatlantic passenger exceeding Lindbergh's record by 300 miles. Light wear at the heel and tips, mild fade area on spine. Very good, bright, attractive copy. New York Times obituary of Chamberlin laid in. . Signed by Author. Hard. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo.
