The strip maps and area maps in each edition reflect the existing travel infrastructure. This 1831 edition depicts the arrival of the railroad in Saratoga Springs in the early 1830s, detailed maps of the Hudson River and the Erie Canal, and routes to places of interest at the time including many of the Revolutionary War battle sites.
This 1831 edition is complete with 19 maps and 9 copper engravings!
