Containing a series of baseball stories, from Delaney's redheaded trio to White Hurtle, the "tow-headed rube who gets his ears pinned back in the first inning and then pitches a one-hit game" (front fly leaf). Written by Zane Grey, American author and dentist, as well as past master of the game of baseball. Complete with price clipped dust wrapper. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally lovely with minor bumping to head and tail of spine and extremities. Dust wrapper with light bumping and chipping to head and tail of spine, spine faded, light spotting to rear fly leaf. Internally, firmly bound. Odd minor spotting to odd leaf, pages otherwise bright and clean. Near Fine
