General Miles was an excellent but also extrmely ambitios officer who both effectively fought against and lafterwards lobbied for the American Indian. He was still trying to get Congress to compensate the survivors of Wounded Knee in the 1920's. Text is clean, tight and unmarked. Red cloth boards with gold-stamped design and titles are immaculate.
