About This Item
Washington: Office of Administration Isthmian Canal Affairs, 1905. Hardcover. 557 p., illustrated with two very large folded charts; hardbound in 9x6 inch dark blue cloth boards spine-titled gilt. Spine is quite sunned though lettering remains legible, general mild edgewear with bits of fray at rims and a corner-tip, one blank has a quarter-inch marginal tear otherwise sound, clean and unmarked except for an ownership. The front free endsheet bears an ownership in pencil, this copy having belonged to one Col. Molitor (datelining June 1921, subscribing it "personal"); Molitor was a member of the 1921 Special Panama Canal Commission repeat.
