Philadelphia: James Hogan, 1908. Paperback. Very Good -. 31 p., 2 leaves of folded maps; illustrations; 24 cm. Light brown wrapper printed in dark brown; stapled. Large folded maps attached inside the front and back wrappers: Topographical Map of the Revolutionary Camp Ground at Valley Forge (1906); and General Map of the Encampment at Valley Forge Pennsylvania, 1777-8 (1908). A smaller folded map is attached to p. 15: Valley Forge Park and Vicinity (1908). All of the maps indicate the areas that had been acquired for the park by 1908. In 1893 Valley Forge was the first state park established by Pennsylvania. Scarce. In Very Good- Condition: wrapper is soiled; spine rubbed with minor loss at head of spine; stating to separate from tail; loss along fore-edge of back wrapper; light soiling along edges of title page; otherwise, text, maps, and illustrations are clean and solid.
