About This Item
Good Trade Paperback NOT a library copy NO writing, tight binding but a bit shelf wear. The choice of the cover art by michael herring no disrespect to him but for the editor with zero vision. The figure of Aragorn was from a period after abstract art of the Sixties and before the film covers and the lack of Tolkien's illustrations left this Gandalf with a white cowboy hat (!) and Aragorn from Dallas series with people from a workout video looking in. For that reason alone and for wanting a complete collection. See our Three Geese in Flight Book Scan. Prepare to smile or cry.
Synopsis
In the gripping finale of the epic fantasy trilogy, "The Lord of the Rings", the stakes have never been higher as Frodo Baggins and his faithful companions embark on their perilous quest to destroy the One Ring and vanquish the malevolent Sauron. Darkness looms over Middle-earth, and Frodo faces relentless trials and agonizing temptations. As the forces of Gondor and Rohan gather for a final, cataclysmic clash with Sauron's armies, the fate of all hangs in the balance. The stage is set for a breathtaking crescendo, with battles of epic proportions and Frodo's harrowing journey towards the treacherous Mount Doom, where the destiny of the world will be determined. Will courage and sacrifice be enough to overcome the encroaching darkness?
