About This Item
Culver City, CA: Columbia Pictures, 1956. Collection of five vintage studio still photographs from the 1956 film: three studio stills (two with Don Taylor and Sally Forrest and one with Raymond Burr, Don Taylor and Sally Forrest), and two studio stills of Don Taylor.
Originally made as a 74-minute pilot episode of a proposed 1956 TV anthology "Command Performance" which was not taken up. "Ride the High Iron" was then released theatrically by Columbia Pictures.
Young soldier Hugo Danielchik (Taylor) just returned home from the Korean war and gets a job with dubious publicist Ziggy Moline (Raymond Burr) to publicize the socialite debutante Elise Vanders (Sally Forrest) and keep her recklessness out of the newspapers.
8 x 10 inches. Near Fine, some light creasing. Don Taylor photographs lightly toned.
