This signed first edition, first impression, of acclaimed writer Joshua Ferris' novel 'To Rise Again At A Decent Hour' was shortlisted for the Booker Prize and won the Dylan Thomas Prize in 2014. The novel follows the story of an ambivalent New York dentist who becomes impersonated online, with this outrageous violation of privacy quickly becoming more frightening, the story gaining acclaim for Ferris through his inventive comedic look at modern existence. Dazzlingly and brutally comic, Ferris' 'To Rise Again At A Decent Hour' explores the human need to stay in touch with modern life and not allow themselves to become disaffected. In the publisher's original hardback binding, with unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, excellent, with just some minor shelfwear to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. The dustwrapper is also in an excellent condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Fine
