Three octavo volumes (21.5cm); black cloth, with titling and author's facsimile signature stamped in gilt on spines and front covers; dustjackets; publisher's original slipcase; [ii],[4],5-506,[4]; [6],7-640; [6],7-316,[4]pp. Spines gently nudged, with faint discoloration to same on Sexus and Nexus; two corners gently tapped (though still sharp) on Nexus; Near Fine in Near Fine, unclipped dustjackets (priced $7.50, $7.50, and $5.00 respectively), with some light external wear and a few tiny tears to extremities. Slipcase is bumped on lower edge, some some splitting to upper and lower rear joints; Very Good. Miller's fictionalized account of a six-year period of his life in Brooklyn, following the break-up of his first marriage, when he meets his second wife, June, prior to his initial departure to Paris in 1928.
