London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1928. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. First UK Edition. Publishers original light blue cloth with black titles to the front and spine, in D/W. An attractive VG copy, the binding clean with a little bumping to the corners with the text block edge a little darkened. Complete with the original very good, rubbed and nicked D/W which has several small chips at the extremities. The reverse of the D/W has a piece of (un-necessary) clear tape at the bottom of the spine. Correctly priced 7/6 net to the spine (as called for). Very scarce in the D/W. [Twelve short stories, told by the old soldiers of the Runagates Club. Sir Richard Hannay, hero of The Thirty-nine Steps, reappears in The Green Wildebeest].
