Hammond, Hammond & Company, 1965. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Rook, David. The boards are a touch edge rubbed, and the bottom of the spine has discoloured, but they remain strong and square, with little defect. The jacket is rubbed, marked and worn, with multiple small closed tears along the edges and some light liquid staining along the bottom back cover and spine. This is not immediately noticeable, and does not spoil the jacket. The front end page has been removed, and there is a previous retailer's sticker on the front pastedown, along with a stamp marking on the half title page. There are no other markings or inscriptions, and the pages within are crisp, clean and complete. The binding remains tight, and it is presented charmingly in cellophane. JV.K.
