About This Item

Alexandria: Self-Published, 1996. Book. Good. Soft cover. 2nd Edition. 4to. 42pp, appendices, illustrations, maps, genealogy chart, stiff printed plastic laminate with brass binder clips at spine, three strips of red masking tape noted along spine edge of rear cover, apparently holding binder clips stable, otherwise a fresh, bright, clean copy, unmarked inside and out. Ignatz Ruschman was born March 26,1821 in Ulm, Germany. His parents were Athanasius Ruschman and Ludowika Sucher. He married Mary Ursula Speier April 28, 1947. They emigrated soon after and settled on Three Mile Creek in Campbell County, Kentucky. They had eight children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Kentucky. From the Forward to the second edition, "The original work, a sketch of the Ignatius Ruschman Family in America, 1845 - 1895, by Joseph P. and Rev. Albert E. Ruschman, was written in 1963. Since then, considerable work on the genealogy of Kentucky families from southwest Germany has become available, making possible the tracing of three earlier generations of Ruschmans in Ulm, Baden, Germany." Very scarce..
