The first edition of this art book on Russel Drysdale densely illustrated with both colour and monochrome plates. First edition of Russell Drysdale by Geoffrey Dutton in the original publisher's cloth binding and clipped dust wrapper. Densely illustrated with thirty two colour plates and one hundred and twenty four monochrome plates. Collated, complete. A lovely art book studying the work of Russell Drysdale, the Australian artist inspired by abstract art and surrealism. He won the Wynne Prize for 'Sofala' in 1947. In the original publisher's cloth binding and clipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent. There is some light wear to the extremities of the dust wrapper, including some small creases. The pages are very bright and clean. Near Fine
