New York: George Braziller, 1963. 1st edition. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. Near Fine in VG dw. Large 8vo, viii+626pp, black cloth stamp in silver and purple, printed dustwrapper. Nice copy of the first American edition of this English translation of a monumental work on Genet by Sartre. Cloth has minor soil to back cover (internally clean), jacket has price clipped and shows some toning to spine and a closed tear to cover.
