4to. Paper covers. May 1929. Illustrated. Includes instructions on how to use a telephone, how to make calls, rates, San Francisco directory, “Buyer’s Guide, Oakland, Alameda, Berkeley and San Leandro directory, plus directory to “Other Cities and Towns” including towns from Tomales to La Honda and parts in between. The fore edge and bottom edge and absorbed a dark liquid causing swelling but did not soak in as far as the printed text. A vermin has chewed a bit off the fore edge, but again, only on the edge of the As and Bs of the SF directory. Spine canted, paper browning. Still an intact and very useable copy of this scarce, ephemeral reference works.
