San Francisco: Fearon Publishers, 1958. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Full tan cloth, 8vo, 143 pages, with illustrations by Wendy Larrence. Previous owner's bookplate and inked inscription in front endpapers, tiny scorch mark in front endpaper, inside edges of dust jacket reinforced with old clear tape, now in protective mylar cover. Known to her readers as Jane Friendly, Benet was the food editor for the San Francisco Chronicle from 1953 until 1988.
