Later state dust wrapper with 1- to front wrap. Photoplay edition, with scene from the film starring Paul Robinson and Leslie Banks to the front of the scarce wrap. An uncommon example of this novel by noted author Edgar Wallace, regarding his protagonist Commissioner Sanders in a remote village in West Africa. In the original red cloth binding in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally in excellent condition with minor shelf wear only. Slightly cocked. Dust wrapper is smart with chipping and slight loss to the wrap. Minor age toning and the odd spot. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Offsetting to endpapers. Very Good Indeed
